'The Manor House' ...Castle Combe Wiltshire

I left Gloucester just after 6.30am this morning to drive down to the Castle Combe in Wiltshire to style Marie's hair for her wedding.

Arriving in the sleepy village before the tourists arrived was a bonus. Frequently used for films, Castle combe is often called 'The prettiest village in England' and it is easy to see why.
Marie and wedding party were staying at the 'Manor house' a staggeringly beautiful 14th century Manor house now converted into one of the finest hotels in the country.
I styled the hair for the three bridesmaids and Marie's mother first. Two of the bridesmaids had 'updo's' and one had short hair which was styled to give lots of body and movement and like the other styles I wove diamante clips into it to add that special finish and sparkle.
Marie and I had decided on a very elegant French Pleat when we did her wedding hair trial earlier in the year. Having set it on heated rollers to give it extra body and shine I then styled it and fixed the tiara into place before attaching and securing the veil.Once everyone was ready we came outside to be greeted by the vintage wedding cars ready to take Marie to the church for the ceremony.
